FOR PARENTS ONLY (Too Boring for Kids)

 Monthly dances are hosted by Munn’s United Church Youth Group.  This is a non-denominational event.  Profits are donated to various Community Charities.

 Providing your Child a Safe and Entertaining Environment is our Priority 

§        Dances are chaperoned by 5-8 Adults. Volunteers are usually church members, however we would welcome your help (see ticket sale procedures for more details). Volunteer duties are available for High School Students seeking Community Service Hours.

·         No In/Out Privileges. Youth leaving Before the End of the Dance must be accompanied by an Adult.

·         No Drugs, Alcohol or Smoking are permitted.

 Ticket Sale Procedures

Due to fire regulations, only a limited number of children can attend the dance.  When dropping off your child, please ensure that your child has a ticket before you leave.

Dance tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis to those children who have a line ticket.  Line tickets will be handed out in numeric sequence, around 6:15 pm on the night of the dance. Kids will be able to pick up 1 line ticket for themselves and up to 2 additional line tickets for friends who have not yet arrived.  Dance tickets will begin to be sold by 6:30 pm. - you must have a line ticket in order to purchase a dance ticket.   When their line ticket number is called, each child must be physically present with their line ticket  in order to pay for their dance ticket and gain entry into the dance. . If friends have not shown up, the child can either enter the dance without their friends and forfeit their extra line tickets, or make arrangements for a parent to pick them up. 

The only exceptions are tickets related to a limited number of friends of youth volunteers associated with the church, and children of adult volunteers. If you have a police check and would like to volunteer an hour and a half of your time on the night of the dance, your child and two of their friends are guaranteed entry into the dance, without having to line up.  For more information on this, please contact the church office at 905-257-8434.
