More Voices

When our hymn book, VOICES UNITED, was published in 1996 it was the intention of the Hymn and Worship Resource Committee to supplement it with another volume within the next decade that would accommodate the wonderful ongoing explosion of new songs of the faith, some created by names well known to us and others from new composers and poets.  That dream was realized this past February with the publication by the United Church of the MORE VOICES supplement.  Over the past several months we've been experiencing several of these excellent new hymns in worship.  Rita Lamplugh, our Music Director as well as the Music and Worship Committee are recommending that we purchase a set of MORE VOICES for use of the congregation.  The hope is that members of the Munn's community may wish to take the opportunity to underwrite the purchase of one or more copies as memorials to loved ones, tributes, commemorations or simply as gifts.  The cost works out to $20.00 per volume.  Forms and envelopes are available around the church or contact Lisa in the church office.
